After graduating from the University of Texas in Austin, my love of helping people began with a career in non-profit development taking me to many different cities, including a few years in the Caribbean. About ten years ago I made the move to the Shoals area, where I found myself renovating historic homes in Downtown Florence. As I was buying homes to renovate, it was a natural step to become a Realtor and help others in my close community who had questions about the buying or selling process. As the years have gone by, I became one of the top Realtors in the Shoals area, and surrounded myself with a team of other real estate professionals to better serve our area.
When not working with buyers and sellers, or personally working on one of my own renovation projects, you’ll find me out and about in downtown Florence, enjoying local music, working at Kodachrome Community Garden, the non-profit I co-founded, or out with friends at one of my favorite locally owned places.

Born and raised in Alabama, Lauren Shaw has called Birmingham home for most of her life. She graduated from the University of North Alabama in 2016, where she met her husband, Dylan Shaw. While in Birmingham, she has worked in interior design, taught elementary school, and coached soccer before finding her passion in Real Estate. She LOVES helping people and will go above and beyond to serve those around her. Birmingham holds a special place in Lauren’s heart and she is thrilled to help others share in that same excitement for their new home in the city! Lauren and Dylan are proud parents to Henry, and the sweetest of twin brothers - Theodore & Charles Shaw.
As an Alabama native and graduate of The University of Alabama, Frances loves our great state. Frances has a passion for serving others and building relationships with people. She is following her lifelong dream of becoming a real estate agent and finds joy in the journey every day. Frances has never met a stranger and loves connecting with people. Frances and her husband Sterling love life with their son Sterling.

Originally from Houston, Texas, Caroline made Alabama her home when she attended Samford University, where she graduated with a degree in Healthcare Administration. She quickly fell in love with the people and community that make Birmingham so special, and today she combines her dedication to clients with her appreciation for all that Birmingham has to offer as a real estate agent.
Caroline thrives on building meaningful relationships with people and has a gift for making others feel valued and understood. She finds joy in guiding clients through every step of the buying and selling process. Known for her warm personality and strong dedication, Caroline ensures her clients feel supported, informed, and confident from start to finish. Before joining the Matt Golley Team, Caroline worked for a local healthcare startup as well as a faith-based nonprofit.
Outside of real estate, you can find Caroline walking along Jemison Trail, grabbing coffee with a friend, or playing pickleball. She also loves spending time with friends and family at Birmingham’s local favorites like Back Forty Brewing Company. Caroline is an active member of Faith Presbyterian Church and enjoys engaging with the community she serves.
