After graduating from the University of Texas in Austin, my love of helping people began with a career in non-profit development taking me to many different cities, including a few years in the Caribbean. As I was buying homes to renovate, it was a natural step to become a Realtor and help others in my close community who had questions about the buying or selling process.
Over the years, I have built a reputation as a top-performing Realtor in Alabama and assembled a team of experienced real estate professionals to better serve clients across the state. Our focus is on clear communication, strong negotiation, and thoughtful guidance—whether working with first-time buyers, seasoned investors, or sellers positioning their homes for maximum value.
Outside of real estate, I enjoy spending time around downtown Birmingham, and since our office is right across the street, I rarely miss a chance to swing by Back Forty — usually with my dogs, Jovi and Fox.

Born and raised in Alabama, Lauren Shaw has called Birmingham home for most of her life. She graduated from the University of North Alabama in 2016, where she met her husband, Dylan Shaw. While in Birmingham, she has worked in interior design, taught elementary school, and coached soccer before finding her passion in Real Estate. She LOVES helping people and will go above and beyond to serve those around her. Birmingham holds a special place in Lauren’s heart and she is thrilled to help others share in that same excitement for their new home in the city! Lauren and Dylan are proud parents to Henry, and the sweetest of twin brothers - Theodore & Charles Shaw.
As an Alabama native and graduate of The University of Alabama, Frances loves our great state. Frances has a passion for serving others and building relationships with people. She is following her lifelong dream of becoming a real estate agent and finds joy in the journey every day. Frances has never met a stranger and loves connecting with people. Frances and her husband Sterling love life with their son Sterling.

Originally from Houston, Texas, Caroline made Alabama her home when she attended Samford University, where she graduated with a degree in Healthcare Administration. She quickly fell in love with the people and community that make Birmingham so special, and today she combines her dedication to clients with her appreciation for all that Birmingham has to offer as a real estate agent.

My journey to Birmingham began when I moved from Lakeland, Florida, to attend Samford University. What started as a place to earn my degree quickly became the city I now proudly call home. From the moment I arrived, I fell in love with Birmingham’s welcoming community, beautiful neighborhoods, and the sense of home I found here.
I am currently a senior at Samford University studying Business Marketing with a concentration in Real Estate. My journey to Fernhill Realty began through an internship and by babysitting for agents in the office, where I had the opportunity to build meaningful relationships and learn from experienced professionals. Through those experiences, I discovered a passion for serving others and realized that real estate is where I can make a meaningful impact!
